Hello All,
I have a question regarding the FSW Cat 1 initial application process. Upon assessment i have got exactly 67 points which is positive to file the application but i want to get more points for my experience. Currently i have 3+ years of full time working experience (3 years experience = 19 points) but after an year when i get a call for submitting the documents i'll have an experience of 4 years which is equals to 21 points. So, can i claim for 4 years experience in the initial application or 3 years which i currently have?

Please advice...

You can only claim what you currently have. You can not predict the future. You could lose your job tomorrow and not get another years experience for all you know.

67 is enough if you have solid 67. If immigration doesn't agree, you will be short so better to have a couple of more.

I strongly suggest that you get a few points from french lessons. It is too much of a gamble to expect CIC to agree with you exactly. How many points did you claim for language? did youn do IELTS?

I am in the same dilemma. I've got exactly 67 points now. If i change my wife and children from non-accompanying to accompanying then i can claim few extra points for my wife's degree. However, i don't want we all go together into an unknown territory. Any suggestions?

If i were you, i would go ahead and apply with 67 points. Maybe you can write here the categories and points against each of the categories you are claiming for some experienced members on this forum to go through and advice you.
