hi all,
i applied as a skilled worker immigrant to canada,( simplified application),my points was 70 points,
but now the sitaution changed, because my uncle in canada left canada already , so , 5 points less ,and this means , i will get 70-5=65 points.
so is it ok, if i study frensh , so i can get 2 more points 65+2=67 points.

what i want to know, is it ok to change the situation of my application ( to cancel the family points )
and will they took positive suggestion for my application?

thanks

i wish all of you to go to canada soon

Hello Zicorico,
I will advise that you go and study French and cancel the point you added on family ties. This will give you a better advantage. Good luck.

Try not to do anything at this time with your application because it has been filed to be retrieved later on at a future date. You should just prepare yourself to do other things in order to garner more points depending on CIC's next communication with you.

I believe you already submitted your application and have even received an AOR.

Finally, i received my AOR on 30 jun 07/after 4 and half month of waiting by post
but is this normal to send my application in 14 feb o7 and to receive my AOR in 30 JUn 07

Did you already give yourself 16 points for Language Proficiency? Even if you have, it is advisable that in the meantime, you should prepare to take any of the Language tests seeing that you are not from an English speaking country.

hi all, i have the same problem,i post my simplified application from united arab emirates to london office in 14 feb

You can choose to prepare for the IELTS for English, or for the TEF for French, or if you can afford to, you can prepare to attempt both tests. In the meantime, do not take any of the tests, just prepare for any or both of them like Fathertee suggested that you study French.

If CIC needs you to take any of these tests, they will let you know.
