Dear Friends,

Finaly i got my IELTS results today.
Listening : 6.5
Reading: 7
Writing: 8
Speaking : 7

How many point will i get ? if i am not worng then i think i get 14....now the problem strat ..because now we have 65 point all to gether.my partner family living in canada is possible we will get some point. if possible how much we will get...

yes, its 14 from your IELTS. You can claim 5 adaptability points for you or your partner ( wife or common-law ) family, close bllod relative living in canada as PRs or citizen.




Relatives in Canada 5

You, or your accompanying spouse or common-law partner, have a relative (parent, grandparent, child, grandchild, child of a parent, sibling, child of a grandparent, aunt or uncle, or grandchild of a parent, niece or nephew) who is residing in Canada and is a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

If you can prove that you (you or your wife) have any relative/s in Canada you would get 5 points for adaptibility.

You must have strong documented proof for claiming 5 points as adaptibility. Otherwise mostly cases have been rejected on the such behalf.

Please arrange following documents :

1 - Photocopy of his PR card (notarized)
2 - Marriage certificate / Birth Certificate (your bro in law)
3 - Marriage certificate / Birth Certificate (your partner)
4 - English translated NIC Copy of your partner
5 - English translated of your marriage's certificate.
6 - Birth Certificate / Translate copy of NIC of your partner's father
7 - Photocopy of NICOP (your bro in law)
8 - Any documents which can proof his (your bro in law) residency still in Canada like, Utility bills, Bank Statment or any other documents what he recieves on his name in Canada. (notarized)

I think above documents are enough but if they need anything else you may be requested.

actually nimmiboy used pakistan based terminologies and i believe you are not from pakistan. NIC means National Identity Card and NICOP means National Identity Card for Overseas Pakistanis. so you can use whatever is equivalent to these things in your country.
