point of exit

hi guys,

just wanna ask this for a friend who will be coming to toronto canada this coming october as a caregiver.

she applied and processed all of her papers in taipei. she got approved. her letter from the embassy is addressed to her taipei address. however she wanted to go to philippines first to see her family before finally going to canada.

question is: will there be a problem if she decided to exit in philippines instead of taipei? will the immigration officer or airport personnel or any person in authority not question her for doing that?

any help pls. thanks

She won't have a problem as far as Canada is concerned because we don't care where she arrived from. She may have to pay a fee to the POEA if she leaves through the Philippines. Others here can comment on their rules.
