Hi,
I have 6 days to submit my application and somehow I have managed to confuse myself on my proof of funds letter.
My proof of funds letter is signed and stamped by a bank official, is on the bank letterhead and lists my name, account number and average balance for the last 6 months. It does not mention the current balance.
Question: Is this letter enough? Somebody told me that more than average balance, current balance and the monthly balance for last 6 months is more important because your bank balance can be 0 for months 1 through 5 and 120,000 for month 6 and then when you average it out over the past 6 months your average balance would still be 120,000/6=20,000.
Is this true that we need to list monthly balance for the last 6 months? Or my letter with average balance for the last 6 months only (no current balance) would be sufficient?
