POF Confusion

Hey guys!

So this part of the whole application literally has me tearing my hair out (okay, not literally, but you get the point!)

I have been working in Canada on a IEC visa for the past years at various bars. Over the course of the year I have earned well in excess of 12,300CAD (the minimum requirement for FSW) however, I do not have that amount in my account at the time of writing.

However, I recieved a large inheritance from my grandfather when he passed a couple of years ago, that was sat in my bonds account back in the UK. My parents withdrew this money early last year to loan to my sister when she bought a new house but they still have the money ready to deposit back to my account when needed.

Now, here are my questions:

1) Would them re-depositing the funds into my UK bank account, with a letter of explanation as to where that amount went and why it was returned, not be sufficient to prove my funds?
2) Could I use a gift deed? If so, would that need to be from my Canadian bank account or can it be from my UK bank account?
3) Is the fact that I have been working legally in Canada for the past 13 months not enough proof that I can support myself?

Thank you all in advance for your help.

Joey

You do need to demonstrate proof of funds if you're applying through Express Entry. You could only avoid doing this if you had a formal job offer from your employer (i.e. an approved LMIA).

I don't think a letter will be sufficient. You'll want to include an affidavit.
