Hi Everyone,

My girlfriend was recently accepted for the "International Experience Young Professionals" program.

We received a copy of the POE entry letter in an email and she seems to be under the impression that an official version of the POE is supposed to come in the post. We need to drive to the border and have her work permit authorized and present the POE letter...so we're waiting on an "official POE letter" that might not even exist.

So my question is:

Can we just print off the POE letter? Is there even an official one that comes in the post? Any advice here is appreciated - assume that I know nothing!

Thanks in advance

What do you expect for the POE letter? What do you mean with "official"?. This letter is just a PDF that you have to print and it's an introductory letter, it will let the officer know that she has an approved IEC Visa, then he will check and confirm this in the system, that's all with this letter. The letter itself do nothing officially. Then the important document is the Work Permit that the officer will issue her and normally will attach to the passport, this is in fact an official document.

She was under the impression that there was an official letter that came in the post and that the border agent who issues the permit would not accept a printed version.
