Dear PNP pros!
I have applied for the PNP but have had some complications with my application and would really appreciate advice.
After sending off the PNP application I also applied for an extention on my current visa. I was required to send a support letter from the PNP with my application for my extention to my current visa but as the application takes up to 3 months this was not possible. I was told the application for my visa extention would take min 86 days and very likely longer, so I estimated I could send the support letter for my extention when I received it from my PNP.
As it turns out my extention application was processed in 5 weeks (less than half the estimated time) and before my PNP application was processed so I did not have a chance to send in the support letter. This means my application was rejected and I am now unable to work or at least until I apply for a restoration of my extention.
Luckily the PNP office has responded to my application this week and I have been advised by a lawyer that I can apply for my work visa on the boarder instead of a restoration.
So here is the question, the PNP office have sent questions to my employer and as this is vital I wonder should I pay for legal advice (cost $2500) in order to ensure my boss does not leave anything out when answering these questions?
Are these standard questions:
Q1. They have noticed my salary is less than normal salary recommended for my job.
I work for a salary which is 95% of the market value and the rest I make in commision which has brought my salary above the amount specified for my role this year. Is this adaquate for the salary recommendations?
Q2. They have asked if my company can send documentation relating to my current status, as my visa sent with the application has expired.
Is it enough to send details relating to my extention application and to prove I have 90 days to apply for restoration and also say that I have been advised that the PNP will act in place of this if appproved?
As you can imagine $2500 is a lot of money to pay for assistance at this time and money I do not have, so my main concern is that I am not leaving anything out in the response that may jeprodize my application so any advice would be very helpful.
Thank you.
