I’ve applied along with my wife for the PR through PNP. I am the main applicant. I’ve received P2 and uploaded my photo and provided my address. My partner is currently outside Canada, so she still didn’t finish the declaration.

Question: will they delay the issuance of my ECOPR until my wife is back to Canada?

No she can have her passport stamped abroad. Assume you declared she was outside Canada.

I don’t understand. Would you please elaborate? What do you mean by her passport stamped? I didn’t declare anything for her. I just replied to her P2 email stating that she is outside Canada. Thank you.

Did you not declare your spouse and her address outside of Canada?

No, how to do that? They didn’t reply to her p1 email response I sent stating she’s outside Canada.

You’ll have to wait and see what happens. Hopefully after you receive eCOPR she will get COPR to have her passport stamped abroad. If she does receive the eCOPR while abroad she will need her PR card or a PRTD to enter Canada.
