PNP Ontario - CIO ? Police Certificate

Sorry for opening a new thread. I got my PNP nomination. I am in Ottawa Ontario. They have asked me to submit to CIO , Sydney Nova Scotia.
My question is that , do I need to submit mine and my spouse Police Certificate?
I am in Canada while she is in Pakistan ?
Its just that it will take an extra week to get it..
Being in Canada, I believe I do not require one

Secondly, any link which tell what happens next and time lines ?

For your self from Canada you can get it later if CIC asks you. For your spouse and yourself from India you have to get it now and send it to CIO Sydney.

Yes it is. Anyway they gonna asked if you do not send it. and it will delay your proccessing case by 2 or 3 months
