Hello everyone,

I have two questions about the Work Experience section in the PNP guide.

1 - Its said that to become elegible the person must have at least 1 year of experience in the last 10 years. Below is the information I took from the pdf guide.

"For the NBPNP Express Entry program stream, your work experience must be in a NOC O, A, or B occupation. This should
be identified in your application as your primary occupation in the 10 years before your application submission. Proof of this experience will be required."

Ok, so that being said, me and my wife were doing some research and some people have told us that the province only counts the past 5 years, not the past 10 years. Is this information correct?

I have 3 years of experience, from 2009-2011 and I intend to apply for the PNP in August this year or maybe November.

2 - Is that any problem if both me and my wife have visited/studied before in Canada? I studied in Toronto for 5 months and my wife did college in Niagara Falls last year. We only went to this province because all the agencies here in Brazil (at least in our city) they only offers study programs in Ontario and B.C.

thanks guys and I hope hear from you soon!

Have you attended any information session conducted by New Brunswick in the last 24 months? OR do you have any relative currently staying in NB?
If your ans is YES to either of the above questions, then you can apply for NB PNP.
