PNP got expired after 30 days. What to do?

Hi friends,

One of my friend was not able to accept PNP as his lawyer was not able to get alert. Now the PNP got expired as 30 days got over. Any idea what to do?

What do you mean not able to get alert?

For 45 days the lawyer does not check her client's account status and keeps waiting for the alert to wake him up from his deep slumber, what does he invoice you for, and why does your friend pay him?

I am sorry to say but if you don't love your hard earned money...you'll need to reapply for another PNP, as i don't think any of the provinces have a PNP renewal policy in place.

Even we are frustrated with the lawyer. They are not giving access to our profiles as well. They are saying some bullshit reasons.. Not sure what to do now..

Terminate/short-close the contract, get your money back if possible, and reapply anyway as your PNP has already expired.

There is a form "add/remove a representative", fill it to remove the lawyer and tell him/her to give you details of the EE profile.

Ensure the lawyer hand over all your information including PNP info

Create a GCkey and try to transfer the EE profile to the new GCkey. If this doesn't work create new EE profile.

Explain the situation to the province and ask them if they can transfer to new EE profile.

I haven't seen the steps above work for anyone but it's what I would do. As an applicants you have rights protecting you from any representative. if the lawyer does not cooperate, you can report them the their regulatory body and tell them you will do this (RCIC) Regulated Canadian Immigration Consultant
