Hi everyone:

I am an international student at Seneca college in Toronto. I am enrolled in a 2-year law clerk program that hopefully gets me a NOC friendly job(Law Clerk falls under NOC 0, A, B so hopefully I will be fine).

I have always thought of only 1 option - CEC. But recently I have noticed that there are a lot students applying through PNP. I read the info on cic.gc.ca and I am still confused. I also read the Ontario website that deals with PNP in Ontario.

Can somebody please answer my questions?

1) PNP is completely employer-driven, isn't it? Does it mean that if my employer refuses to nominate me there is no PNP options for me?
2) How do I find an employer who will help me with PNP? I can't ask them questions like "By the way I am on my Post Graduate Work Permit, if you hire me are you willing to help me with PNP" during the interview. Nobody will hire me if I let them know I require so much help. People don't help each other anymore. Well some do, but most don't.
3) Is PNP faster than CEC?

Please help me understand how PNP really works.
Thanks!!!
