I already received the PNP approval. However, my visa is expiring and my employer may or may not renew the H1b visa.

In that case, can I apply for the Canadian immigration from outside of the U.S? I already have the police clearance. I am obtaining employment letters and reference letters, etc.

Please advice.

Thanks!

I assume that you received nomination from AINP. If you are planning to leave USA inform AINP about this. They will transfer your PNP case to the Visa Office that takes care of your country. By default AINP SRS cases go to Buffalo as you are in USA on H1B. If they realize that you are out of USA they will transfer the processing to your country. Just inform Alberta.

Why do you need employment letters and reference letters. I dont think you need those for CIC. I suggest you get FBI and State clearances before you leave USA.

Re: AINP Approval and next steps

reference and employment letters from the US to include with the CIC process.

Also, how long is the FBI clearance valid?

FBI clearance is valid for 3 months.
