i got a letter from CIC Manila about 2 weeks ago stating that they have started assessing my application for PR (which i submitted in 2004) and that based on their initial assessment, i can get as much as 64 points. they asked me to update them within 2 months. In october of last year, i arrived into Canada on a work permit, will my being employed in Canada earn me at least 4 points for me to hit the 67 mark? does this mean that their decision is near? what happens next should they decide favorably? My wife is following me here on an open work permit soon, and so are our 2 kids. what happens if i get approved while we are all here in canada? thank you.
