Can you tell me if on the record of landing it shows the company one work for as the sponsor? And what other forms one has to bring or fill out at the time of landing?

The reason I am asking these questions is because I have applied as FSW2 (LMO) with job offer but my company just closed down. I have called a couple of lawyers and they told me that I dont have the legal obligation to inform my VO of this change. My work permit is valid till november and I can provide proof of funds but no employment letter when I land.

I don't have the PR visa yet but last I time I inquired about my file this is what I got: "CIC is working to closely manage arrivals in Canada so that we meet, but do not exceed, the immigration levels plan set by Parliament last fall for 2011. Since we have larger inventories than room within the immigration plan for admissions to Canada, we must stagger the issuance of visas throughout the year. As a result, we will not be in a position to issue a visa to you until July of this year. We expect to send the instructions to you approximately in June." and my CAIPS file says that my file is RFV.

Any input on my case?

1. No.
2. If you are asked and you lie, you will have a problem.

Thank you for replying!!

I dont mean to lie. Just tell the officer at time of landing that I am no longer working for the company but that I have proof of funds.
