My appeal was approved , granted, on sept 7th , what happens next ? I haven't receive anything on the mail

how long is the wait now ? would i need to do police certificates again ? ( I have not left Canada since my last Police reports ) what about medical exams? ( last one was done in Feb 2010, but was for visa extension)

Apparently is going back to Mexico City to be re-processed ?

The file gets sent back to the visa office. They continue processing and will write to you if they need anything else.

I have one my appeal on March 16th of this year. Once you win your appeal you have to sign a document that outlines the reasons why your appeal should be allowed and then it goes before a tribunal and it has to be signed there. Then that document to allow the appeal has to be sent along with your original application has to be sent back to the visa office for processing.

Our appeal was won in march, June 11th our file was in process again. On 17 of June , my husband got a letter from Delhi asking for new PCC and updated application. The end of August my husband got request for medical redo. We are still waiting. I have heard that it takes about 4 to 6 months once the file reaches the embassy to get the visa. I hope this helps you and Congratulations on winning your appeal :)

Any idea if I need to do new PCC on all places i Have lived since i turned 18 years old ?

I did live in the USA , but i have not left Canada since we sent our application. I hope they need the canada one as its faster to get it done,

My last medical were done in february 2010 I hope they can still use those ones.

Yes you will need to do the PCC and I think its likely you will have to have them from all the places you lived and you will have to do an updated application. I was told that once the document to let your appeal go through is signed by the tribunal ( you will get a copy of that letter mailed to you) it will be about 6-8 weeks before it arrives and is opened at the visa office. Now I dont know if that is for all visa offices, but I am dealing with New Delhi, India and thats what I was told at my appeal. As far as your medical goes, if they need a new one they will request it, so just want for them to ask for it. Ours had run out 3 months before our ADR, so we had to redo the medical. If I could make a guess on how things would work in your case. I would say that your file should be in the visa office by end of Oct first of Nov. Then they will make requests for pcc redo and updated docs and they give you 60 days to send it in, they did us anyways. Then there is the security checks and that can take time depending on how many places you have lived. So I think to would be fair to say that you will need to have another medical. I would go have one though unless they ask for it. Maybe by some miracle they will finish your file quick and you wont need to have a medical redone. They say that appealed cases have priority, but that doesnt seem like it.

hello all, first time here, have been screwed royally by manila cic, however after they denied me to sponsor my wife, I took it to appeal, denied adr, had full iad hearing without a lawyer, ;Dand won today, further the canadian lawyer and iad officer both agreed manila was in error, I know it will go back to manila, however I now live in Muscat Oman, and the nearest embassy is abi dabi, how can I transfer my file from manial to abi dabi, and how long will it take if left in manila, if possible, reply, thanks, thunderman

Congratulations! :)

I am not really sure what you should do about that. You might have to contact CIC and ask them what to do about it. Hopefully someone here can better answer that question for you.. Again Congratulations:)

Congrats on your win. But they won't transfer the file. Don't know about the timeline through Manila. Probably approx. 3 to 6 months depending on how quickly you provide them with what they ask for when they get around to asking for it. You might want to go get a new medical done and PCC for Oman.

Inform Manila of the change of address. If they're very close to finishing they may issue the visa. If not, it's possible they may transfer the application to your closest visa office for processing there.
