dear all frnds...
i am from india.
i got my visa refusal recently stating that i have not satisfied the officer that i will not leave canada at the end of my authorized stay because; my proposed studies are not in light of one or more of:my qualifications,previous studies,employment,level of establishment,other opportunities available in india or canada, or my future prospects or plans.

can i re-apply visa or not?

If you hav applied under SPP then you cannot apply under SPP. Yes you can apply but under General category.

You will have to provide us your educational background and details for us to help you or suggest something. Like which all documents did you submit and funds shown also your qualifications and gaps if any.

Hi,

I do not think if you can apply under SPP. You already have one rejection under ‘General’ which PROBABLY makes you ineligible to apply under SPP.

I quote NEW SPP 2011 visa checklist (very first point);


“New requirement, beginning for September 2011 entry applications: those who have previously been refused any Canadian study permit application are not eligible to apply under SPP."


Even I am also wondering for this rule. May be I am interpreting it in a wrong way. At least we need an example to cross-check it.

* I repeat I am not sure of this rule, now it’s on you how you interpret the same.

Thats a very weird statement and they should specify this. Infact today I was thinking about the same thing that is what if we apply under General n dan under SPP. Yes Simu, try confirming it with embassy, my bad.

And what did you apply for? Also on which of the above course basis? You have got two different reasons together for refusal. Often typical of CHC.

Hi,

I am sorry to say but it's hard to understand from where your qualification starts and where it ends. You better categorize your educational details from higher to lower.

Hello,

I see that you are highly qualified but have you been working or have had a job offer in view of your qualifications.I mean are these degree worthy of getting you a job.If yes did you mention that to the visa officer.

secondly the VO reused your application saying that you are not well established in your country of residence.

Are you financially independent or going there on your guardian's expense.I mean that is your father(i suppose that it is your father who is helping you out)earning handsomely in India and is some time away from retirement?

If it is a loan that you are banking on how much was the amount that you presented?

Hope you understand where the problem lies.

You have mix of all courses.

From Mechanical engineering to CAD to IT….

I would rate your ‘Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (3 year)' as your highest and main qualification. With this, now you intend to go for B.Tech (IT) in Canada. Just think, what’s the permutation and combination between your prior course Mechanical engineering and prospective course of IT!

You got refused probably for this single reason.
