plz plz plz plz plz plz pzl help me what should i do with my sister case as lawyer was saying that i m giving u 100% guarantee that ielts will cause no problem...4.5 is ok
plz pzl pzl pzl give me sensior advice...is the lawyer really true...is 4.5 band really work

Annaya ,
You should furnish more details like NOC , educational background, experience etc to get a opinion.
Next for example if ur sister NOC is college lecturer do u personally feel that she will qualify to teach students in Canada with this level of English.
I know noc 4131 is outdated but just put it to make u undestand the criteria.

So to sum up give full detailed picture and then we can give our point of view whether the lawyer is correct or not. Everybody file is treated differently by VO and it depends on many factors.

Your lawyer may not be correct, as IELTS is given a very high weighted in your application. The ILETS test is important for all the applicants. We should understand importance of language before applying, because if we do not have sufficient knowledge of the local language that people use to speak their, then how will we communicate with them. Hence, The Canada government give importance to IELTS and another test which test English skills of the applicant before providing him with the Canada visa. At present, it is not mandatory to submit the results of IELTS for the Canadian immigration application instead applicants can submit a Statement of English Language Ability along with all the required documents (but I think after 26/06/2010 it is mandatory to send your IELTS results to CIO am not sure proficiency statement is accepted or not). Still, After investigating the documents, the visa officer will decide that whether the documents are sufficient or the applicant has to go through IELTS and this can be an issue on landing as well, immigration officer can refuse you from entry due to language basis as your visa will let you to land at a port of entry in Canada, from their you will go to newly immigrant office, they will register you as new immigrant. So, I think IELTS importance can't be neglected. If she can appear again then better she do. A person with MA can do better then this but all of us are not good test takers esp 1st time may be in second turn she breaks larger bracket.

My simple reason is
1) She is will be working in office/business environment, if her English is not good then what should be her productivity, as if you are living any province you need good (not fluent) command on English as Canada is a English/French speaking country.
2) Canadian embassies have rejected student on basis of low score in English.

Some layers just do this to raise their income but there are very good and reputable lawyers around speak with them. Plus rely on response for seniors like Qorax, PMM they are very good. If they say yes then I will take my comments back as I learned from their comments (I think they will stand with me on this).

Yes, the person should be lucky. English proficiency plays an important role esp for PNP she need IELTS with avg 7 score. It's still upto you what you want to do. Try luck or do a little work and redo IELTS and be more sure. Now you need to send IELTS results to CIO mean with your initial application (I read it some where on this forum search a bit and you will find it). If am in your sisters shoes I will go for IELTS as it will take another extra month and give me satisfaction. I was reading on forum with thread title "IELTS" where ArshadAli replied to your case (i think so) that his friend was rejected. So, you have 50-50 chances and choice is on you.

I fully agree with Zulkfal .
Next as ur lawyer is giving 100% guarantee then proceed BUT tell him that u will also ask for a 100 % money back guarantee and that includes all fees paid to him and also CIO if u get ur application returned.

Shibuya
