Hello I am planning to apply for student visa soon as I have got my offer letter from my University for MSc degree. But I am confused about the visa questions.
I know I should answer all the questions truthfully. I want to know that do people from the visa office call everywhere to know the truth about the candidate. I mean in his/her office or other source.
-I have aunt (my father's sister) staying in Canada as immigrant. So now should I mention this in my visa form honestly? As I heard that chances of visa rejection are high if any relatives live in Canada.
Are they gonna find out in any way if I dnt mention?
-My brother is studying in Europe. Is there any chance they will take this as negatively?
- I have applied in one more Canada University but got rejected. So should I tell them about this?
Do the Visa office have record of my rejections from that University? or will they contact that University?
-My O level marks are poor, should I still submit the mark sheets?

Plz Plz answer me. Urgently.

First , let me know where are you residing currently. Are you working as well?

-I have aunt (my father's sister) staying in Canada as immigrant. So now should I mention this in my visa form honestly? As I heard that chances of visa rejection are high if any relatives live in Canada.

Honestly, you should not involve your relatives in all of this. They can not figure it out unless you provide them details.

Are they gonna find out in any way if I dnt mention?

-My brother is studying in Europe. Is there any chance they will take this as negatively?

why do you need to mention this? they are not asking about it on the form. They are talkin about you or accompanying applicants. Your brother is not going to study in Canada along with you. On supplementary form, it is upto you to mention his whereabouts. I think it wont be taken as negatively.
- I have applied in one more Canada University but got rejected. So should I tell them about this?

Do the Visa office have record of my rejections from that University? or will they contact that University?

no need to mention any rejections on your statement of purpose. they can not figure how many universities you have applied for

-My O level marks are poor, should I still submit the mark sheets?

yes. you will have to provide them evidence on what basis you have got an offer letter from the university.

I am from Bangladesh. In the visa form there are questions- Do u hv any familly member or friends in Canada? And where does your brother/sister live currently?
In the interview should i say that my family member's do live in Canada n USA also. Will they take this as negatively.
Does the officer calls people to know the truth of the candidate?

Hey relax and dont worry too much they are minor issues and can be handled. My suggestion:-

1.I have aunt (my father's sister) staying in Canada as immigrant. So now should I mention this in my visa form honestly? As I heard that chances of visa rejection are high if any relatives live in Canada.
Ans. If your aunt have obtained her PR via correct route i mean no refugee and all and are currently in good standing then there is no harm in mentioning.

2.Are they gonna find out in any way if I dnt mention?

Ans. if any of your family member has not traveled to canada then they dont have any such record to match because your aunt surname shd have got changed after marriage, so if you decide to drop it then also no worries(My view)

3My brother is studying in Europe. Is there any chance they will take this as negatively?
ans. I dont think it effects them any way till the time you have sufficient funds for your study!!!

4. I have applied in one more Canada University but got rejected. So should I tell them about this?Do the Visa office have record of my rejections from that University? or will they contact that University?
Ans. They have record about your acceptance and not rejection but you can play safe that you applied to 2 universities and u got accepted in one and the other result is awaited but since this was your first choice u went with this.

5.My O level marks are poor, should I still submit the mark sheets?
Ans. You have to submit all your marks sheet irrespective of your marks but this is where your SOP can help you explain why were your score not up to mark and how u have improved after that and what u plan for future. See the point is actually its the university which shd be worried about your academic background but u have a offer so they are ok with it, now the consular just wants to be satisfied that you are a genuine student and are not using student visa as a mean to get there so you need to explain your case keeping this in mind.

Hope it helps
God bless
