Plz help.....Receiving EI after appying for PR ????

Dear seniors
I have just applied for CEC-PR (1 month back) and now because of lack of funds, my employer is ending my contract on 30th April.
So, If I apply for EI will it have any affect on my PR application?

Officially there is no rule preventing EI receiver from obtaining PR via CEC class application, there is also no guidelines in operation manual addressing this issue. You don't even have to be in Canada for CEC application.

Sorry but what does it mean by "lack of funds" ... is the company not able to meet its profit goals or
are u not having any funds with u?
