hi i am an international student in canada and doing MBA. i am going back to india for two months to get marry in april 2013.but my husband is illegal in uk. he will come back and apply for a new passport on a lost passport base. what would be his visa sucess rate if his passport will have history. although he is illegal in uk but he will bring his police clearance report from there. plz guide me.

If illegal stay in the UK even for 1 day it would make problem for him. In my idea chances are very low in your case. Canada is extremely care about illigal stays even in other countries. If ones stays illegal in one country for sure will stay illegal in Canada(This is what VO says.) And in the rejection reasons you will see travel history.... . It will be extremely very hard to convince VO. Hope it helps.
