I am a student in a college in kuwait, i applied a year ago (i wasnt a student) and my visitors application got rejected because i was a minor (17 year old) and i was intending to travel alone. Now i am 18 turning 19 in 2 months, im intending to travel with a canadian friend who goes to the same college i do. im also on a scholarship from the government, i intend on goin after my first semesters finishes which is at the end of january. im goin for tourism in Montreal and visiting a friend in halifax but i will be stayin in a hotel. I dont work so my father is lending me the money to travel which is between 2000$-2500

Can my canadian friend sponsor me?
Do i need papers from my college?
Do i need papers from the goverment to prove im on their scholarship?
Does the bank document have to be from my acount or my dads acount ( for proof of funds)?
Do i need a letter from my parents saying that i will come back?

please help

There is no such thing as sponsoring a visitor, though if you are visiting with your friend a letter might help.

All the other things you mention will likely help establish that you intend to return to your home country and not overstay in Canada, so I would include as much evidence as possible.

The rule regarding evidence is always: the more the better. :)

If your friend has a job or proof of finances s/he can give you a letter of undertaking, some kind of invitation letter with statement that s/he'll be responsible for room and board, medicals and even fare back home should you need one. You need proof of funds yourself but seeing you're a student might be a little questionable if you have too much. Your school registration if enrolled. Download an application kit from CHC Abu Dhabi (I think that's the High Commission responsible for your area), so you'll see what you need to prepare.

it depends how long are you planning to stay in Canada. the more money you can proof the better. they will consider not only your stay in the hotel, also various expenses related to your stay in Canada.

I'm from a visa-free country and do not know a lot about this, but you sure seem to have a lot of proof. :)

Your Canadian friend can write you an invitation letter (may not be needed if your reason is just to tour Canada).

If you are visiting family and/or friends, you may also provide the following:
From the family and/or friends (information to be provided by host is purely voluntary)
A letter, e-mail or fax of invitation may be submitted with the planned dates of your visit.
The invitation letter may include your host’s full address, a phone number and a
signature that is clearly visible.
Proof of status in Canada such as a passport, citizenship card or permanent resident
card.
Please note:
If your relatives or friends are providing you with an invitation letter, they should not send
the invitation directly to the Embassy. The invitation letter, if applicable, must be sent
directly to the applicant and should be included with the application.

Provide proof of your scholarship (to show you will go back and resume your studies)

If you are a student travelling during periods other than school holidays, an original
letter from your school confirming that you are enrolled and in good standing, and that
the school has approved your absence.

You need to show enough funds for your round trip air fare and cost of living.
