Plz help,,, Green card Spouse (by air or by Bus) Entry and eTA application

I would like to hear experience of Green card holder trying to enter canada either by land or by air to unite with wife (PR holder) for short visit.
1- Are their a transportation through land other than own car?
2-Did any manage to get eTA approval now during COVID-19 to fly to canada?
3- Knowing that wife is due to deliver will this excel getting approval to enter?

1. Probably not - check train and bus.
2. So you need an eTA not visitor visa. eTA approval usually takes minutes.
3.If you need eTA then approval is within minutes. You will need 14 day quarantine plan away from your wife since she is due to deliver. Covid test.
