Well I am new to this forum. But I used to read alot still I couldn't find any answer for my question so I thought writing is the best solution

Here is my profile :
10th : 84%
12th: 80%
Then joined B.Tech ECE in 2011.. In 6th Semester I met with an accident and I was in hospital so I had to repeat the whole semester again because my physical attendance was lower than 50%. The university proposed me to repeat so I waited for 6 months and rejoined Semester 6 with my juniors and I completed the course in 2016 but I was supposed to complete in 2015. Is that going to be a reason for my visa rejection?

Now I am planning to joing NAIT in Edmonton AB for Diploma in Network Engineering a 2 year course. The college doesn't ask for IELTS instead they want me to add English to my course as a paper. They college wants only my 12th certificate for admission. But when I goes for the Visa Interview they will obviously ask me what I was doing from 2011. If I say about B.Tech they will ask my certificates and I have 12 backlogs.
Will the following reasons lead to my rejection ? :

1. I completed a 4 year course in 5 years.
2. I have 12 backlogs

Even though my eligibility for the course is good my history in engineering is pulling me back.

What can I do about this ?
I have enough funds only problem is this and I am planning to take my spouse with me.

I want to know what will be the outcome if I apply with the present scenario ?

Thanks in advance!

Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
Bro just state the facts in your SOP that you really met with an accident. They'll figure it out, if you are legitimate or not, after all this is their job and they have been doing this for years.

Also don't worry about backlogs okay. You are good..!

Make your SOP so strong and write about your genuine problem of accident and if you have report , you can attached it as well in your application. All the best.
