Pls help!!!!! Will i get visa?? applying under spp

Hi I am from India,i got unconditional acceptation letter from Confederation college for 2yrs post graduate diploma in Engineering safety and project management starting Sept-2015.I want to know how much chance is there so that i get a student visa.
These are my qualifications
10th-84%
12th-78%
B-Tech Mechanical- 63% (i had 12 backlogs during the course of study,which i have cleared)
NEBOSH with credit
i have 2 yrs of work experience
IELTS score=8 overall (L=9,W=6,R=9,S=7)
medical has been done

I heard that there is a 20% chance of visa rejection due to my backlogs..is this true?
i really liked the course Confederation college is providing,

i would like to know about confederation college too

As long as u have submitted a good SOP and created a GIC and also showed funds fr ur stay, u can always ensure getting a study permit.

Looking at ur marks, I would say ur chances r bright.

thanks for ur reply dennia........ but during my engineering degree studies i had 12 backlogs which i have cleared..is that gonna be an issue??

Dear, your application looks good...just backlogs are hindering the file......just mentioned about it nicely in sop....
Hopefully it will pass through.....
