If you tell the truth chances are extremely high she will be refused since CIC will have concerns she is trying to use the visitor visa to move to Canada. She should say she is visiting and provide strong proof of ties to her home country.

Hey guys,

my case is similar than sexychill. My boyfriend lives in Canada, but I live in Hungary. :(
He is a canadian citizen and I would like to move there. For now, we could not find an employer who would hire me. Other options have been identified, but did not find sufficient information in this regard .
One option would be for marriage , but this did not know the conditions. The other opinion that would be to go out as a visitor , and I say that I came as a tourist , and the money in my bank account to cover up my costs during the six month. However, this did not find info on how accepted it.

Would welcome any experience or information related to the above described .

I think visiting you is a good enough reason? I've written multiple invitation letters while living here ranging from "just visiting" to "attend my graduation" and never had issues. When my partner wrote me an invitation letter it was "just to visit" and i got my visa no problem as well. You can throw in birthdays or anniversary, or even to celebrate your new promotion in it if you are concerned. I think what they would like to see though is her ties to the Philippines. She just got a new job right? Include proof of employment in the application so cic knows that she does have a good reason to return to the Phillippines after visiting you.
