Pls help!! : request urgent processing via case specific enquiry

Hi,

I sent application for PR renewal in May.10. yesterday, E-CAS was updated to 'in-process' meaning that process started.

I am concrened that my application will go to secondary review because I stayed in Canada in a row for just 745 days
(15 days more than required 730 days) when I applied.
so, I want to request urgent processing as soon as E-CAS will be updated(or I receieve relevant email from IRCC) to 'my application went to secondary review'.

- will request for urgent processing of current application help expedite processing? OR should I send new application(which i don't like to) if i want to request urgent processing ?

- will be OK to request urgent processing via case sepecific enquiry(or IRCC webform) with attachment of travel releated document
like e-ticket, payment proof. OR should I send the document to IRCC by mail ?

- in order for request for urgent processing to be accepted by IRCC, how much should time gap between date of my request online and depature date of my trip be?

I would completely avoid requesting urgent processing. Based on the cases we've seen here, those who are close to the 730 day requirement (like you are) and request urgent processing almost always end up in secondary processing and end up waiting much longer than if they had gone the regular processing route.

Ultimately it's your choice - but I wouldn't do it.

I did mean to request urgent processing ONLY IF my application goes to 'secondary review'.

will it still delay processing time even if it is secobdary review?

Once your application is in secondary review - it's going to take a while to process. They won't give you urgent processing.
