Dear Forum Members, I received my ITA on 22nd Feb, 2017 and was planning to upload all documents by mid April latest. However due to an recent development, I am anticipating a possible situation with my employee Reference letters Any guidance on how to proceed will be of immense help.
I am employed with my current organization since the past 6 years. I had obtained the Employment reference letter for this work experience in August last year (when creating my EE profile). I resigned from my current job in Feb 2017 (am currently serving notice till April 2017) and was expecting to intimate the Case Office about my job change using a CSE when I did quit my job and join the new firm.
However, I just got to know that my organization’s name is to going to be changed around the end of March/ first week of April. (My current organization was taken over by another entity in Dec 2016, however there was no change in terms of contract or organization name at the time , hence no need to revise the Employment reference letter at the time).
Will this adversely impact my application? Since I am currently serving my notice period, I do not expect my HR to support me with any revised documentation to support this major change in my profile.
The way I see it, my only alternative seems to be to rapidly expedite my forms upload and finish the same before the end of March (whilst the organization name is unchanged). Once the name changes I can maybe intimate the Officer regarding the change in name of the organization. Further , once I move into my new position, i will have to further indicate the change in my employment status.
Pls advise me how to proceed. I am worried that this sudden change can adversely impact the review of my case.
