Pls Help PMM or other seniors

I calculate my point as skill worker and I got 64 point with IELTS score 5.5. can I apply as a skilled worker now. I am getting married in December 2008 at that time can I update my point as my wife have bachelor degree so can I avail her 4 point of adaptability.

Simply my question is that can I claim 4 point of adaptability after logging my application when they ask me for update docs.

Please replay me as soon as possible.

i think u need to have the points ready at the time of application.
also, try and improve the english to claim extra points,or learn french maybe.

If you read the SAP it states "you must qualify at the time of application" Hey but if you wish to waste the money and a couple of years, it is your privilege

You will need to submit your wife certificate to claim the adaptability point (4 points) and the graduation date must be before your application date. If what you have in mind is to submit now and supply certificate later, they will find out. Don't waste your money. Just retake the IELTS and get the remaining 2 points.

MY WINNING STRATEGY SUGGESTION IS THIS - iF YOU HAVE NOT SENT YOUR IELTS to CIC, then apply without the result and claim 16 point. Submit a letter claiming advance knowledge of the language. Then retake the test and hopefully score 7. They will ask for IELTS anyways and you would have scored 7 by the time they ask. NOTE THAT THIS IS DEPENDENT ON YOU NOT HAVING SENT THEM THE 5.5 SCORE ALREADY!!!!

I am not sending any IELTS score now but tell them that I have advanced english skill but my question is not that.
I am single I will apply now and after 4 months I am getting merrid can at that time I claim 4 point of my wife adaptibility?

You were not clear about the make up of the 64 points you mentioned. My understanding was that you are looking for how to improve your points to 67 or more and that you currently factored in what a 5.5 IELTS would give you before coming up with 64 points.

Now to answer the question you just asked. adding your wife will make no difference. Why?
1. You will not have a file created for you unless you have 67 points in the first place.
2. when you add your wife later, the points for adaptability will not matter because if your application was valid as at the time you are about to add your wife, it means you already had 67 points when they created they accept your application in the begining. It's simple logic. there will not be an application pending if you don't have 67 points. Adding a wife later will not mean anything as far as qualification is concerned.
