hi, im new here i need help for my situation. im a live in caregiver here at fort st. john and i just recently received my work permit for my new employers, but how can i receive my salary from my employers and how they will pay my taxes as well. my employers told me that the government will send them a payslip for my salary? how much taxes will they pay for me. according to my contract they MUST pay me 440 per week and they should NOT DEDUCT any accommodations that i have here now. pls do advice me. and omore thing my employers will go back to the Philippines for a vacation and they told me they WILL NOT PAY ME FOR THEY WILL BE VERY UNFAIR ON THEIR PART IS THIS LEGAL HERE IN CANADA SINCE ITS NOT MY FAULT THAT THEY WILL HAVE A VACATION??????? i would like to know some of my extended legal rights here as a worker under the live in caregiver program thank you and i hope you'll be able to response to my concerns.
