PERMANENT RESIDENT

We received your application for permanent residence on April 21, 2010.

We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on July 05, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.

Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.

We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on July 10, 2010. The New Delhi office may contact you.

Pls advice what does it mean ?

How many stages are left more ?

What does 2nd AOR means?

This means your local visa office (CHC) has started looking into your case. You will receive request letter from CHC to complete the pending formalities in order to officially process your case. Now, which is your present day status, after the assessment of documents and if found inline with Immigration / NOC requirement, your status will turn to IN PROCESS. During the IN PROCESS period, verification of your documents / claims of experience and security / back ground checks will take place which may take approx. 3 months, you will be requested to go for medical.

After medical or may be with medical, RPRF (right of permanent residency fee) and than PPR (passport request for visa stamping). If you are under fast track and the documentation from your side is smooth and as per CHC requirements, you should get your visa by April / May 2011 max.

It means that your file with CHC ND and is waiting for review

After the review starts it will get in process and you get a Medical and PPR request

Interview can happen or can be waived and finally shining visa
