Hello member of the forum, please l have something that make me sad concerning my relationship and l wanna share it for you to advice me on what to do.
I am a PR applicant (outland) and my PR will be approved soon but my wife is my sponsor and she never married before but have a son with a boy friend and they were together for over 15 years but this same boy friend left my sponsor to have 2 kids with another woman and live together with this new woman while he still claim he loves my sponsor, when l met my sponsor she explained everything and l asked if she was marry to this guy and the answer was no and indeed she never get marry, she told me how many years she has been lonely and sad, she did everything for the boy friend not to hurt her son, many time she was treated bad and this boy friend chased many lover away from my wife until l met her and despite all that my wife stay lonely just to please the boy friend because of her son and now that the boy friend discovered that she is married to me, the boy friend is making life unbearable for my wife and threatening that he don’t wanna see any man to come in between my wife and his son, he don’t want my wife to have another man in the house because he always say to my wife that she belong to him and this is making my wife sad and unhappy and when my wife is not happy the same thing goes to me because l don’t like to see her unhappy or sad. I don’t know what this boy friend want after he decided to have life with another woman and still living with the new woman, l need advice on what to do before my landing because l wouldn’t like to take law into my own hands on my arrival.
Thank you all for your advice

I don't think there's any advice from an immigration perspective that anyone here can give you.

If you're married to this person, and there's another guy in the picture who "insists" she belongs to him, you probably need to get the authorities involved.

Have your wife file a police report and if the harassment continues, have her get a protection order from this guy.

I know it's not immigration problem but l believe a problem share is half solve and you just gave your own advice for the authority to get involve and l do appreciate that thank you.

Agreed - this has nothing to do with immigration.

If your wife is being threatened - she should log a report with her local police.

She is saying she don't wanna hurt my step son and the harassment continue, l've been thinking about that but l just don't want to hurt her feelings or think l am bad person by asking her to involve the authority and when ask what she have in mind, she said she is confused and l don't want anything that will give me a problem.
