Please what's the next step to take please help

On 27th of June I received an email from the IRCC that a decision has been made on my temporary visa application, requesting for my passport and travel documents which I had to book an appointment for passport submission surprisingly 10days latter

On 7th of June , we received a follow up email on our account (directly from the government website) stating below

“This is in reference to your application for temporary residence in Canada.
You may have received a request letter via your MyCIC/GCKey account informing you to provide your valid passport or travel document. Please disregard the letter as it was sent to you inadvertently

We apologize for the confusion that this may have causedIn the meantime, we thank you for your patience and understanding “

I already had a flight booked to Lagos for the appointment as well as a confirmed appointment at the visa centre for July 17, 2023.I and my wife (who's in Canada ) We are completely confused and perplexed as to what our next step is.

Probably another visa officer has reopened your file and checking again.. I guess it’s called another file reviewing

Didn’t you get any tracking email concerning the progressing of your stamping when you submitted and also did you take to check the tracker if your application has been closed? And also, your Biometrics, Medical, Eligibility and Background check shown completed?
