Please urgent help required

HI,

I did 10 (75 %) + 12 science (passing marks) + Diploma in Mechanical (58 % with 20 backlogs overall but cleared within 4 years) + Degree in Mechanical (71 %).

I had applied for 2 years diploma course in mechanical engg technician from humber college under spp. File was rejected. The general reason was given (Your proposed course.....).

Now, I again applied in general category in fanshawe coolege for 1 year PG diploma course in Mech. This time I attached SOP for justification.

My question is 1. Can I apply directly in general category? Or should I applied in Jan intake? 2. How backlogs during diploma will affect?

Please give me your honest reply and tell me about visa chances this time.

Its better to reapply under January.since for sept intake last date was 1st aug. and u crossed it.

backlogs will be taken into consideration b since u have good marks in degree(71%), i don't think they will affect ur application


ANd my suggestion to u is dont take 1yr course. Its a waste of money. U can do any other engg. PG diploma of two years.(if u find 1). Or u can go for Meng.

Backlogs dont effect much but over all profile should be strong like you purpose of study, course selected and sufficient funds

Thanks prashy111. I have applied for PG course. fund is sufficient. overall profile is good. Only doubt about my backlogs. Will it be matter much? Everything else is alright.

@ lucifer_2510 : So sorry..Yes i mean at 31 July. And 2 year PG is not available at 6 bands in any colleges in canada. So i have to apply in shorter time. and I have heard that getting 1 year visa is more easily then 2 years. Hope, it will work for me. pray for me dear.

dunno abt that.. bt think abt PGWP and abt ur future.... I will pray fr u buddy dont wry....

PR is tough with 1 yr PGWP brother
