Hello, Please kindly advice me too.
My friend want to come to Canada from Nigeria for a Discipleship Training Program with one of the Charity Organizations here in Alberta. And the said program will last for about 6 months.
What type of Visa will he apply for? Student Visa or Visitor's Visa? Are they the same application form?
He is really confused and I don't know the answer to give him either.
A link to the correct application form will also be appreciated.

We need to know exactly how long the program is. "About six months" doesn't give us enough information to provide you with an answer. Is the program less than six months or more than six months?
