Please please help!! Showing oneself Single to claim more points

Hello to all the aspirants here!!

I am married and my points under EE is 451/600 with no job offer/pnp.

I have claimed zero points for my spouse undee EE and therefore I am losing out on 40 points. Is it possible that I show myself single (so as to claim additional points) and don't take my spouse along with me in my first visit to Canada??? : :

Can I take her along later on when I am given an ITA and start living there.

No that will be fraudulent and if caught you can face a 5 years ban.

IMHO, your score is pretty decent and can fetch you an ITA.

You do not claim additional points for being single. In fact, you get less points for being single. If you are already married, it is important that you state it as anything contrary would amount to misrepresentation and you will be banned for that. It is entirely up to you when you decide to bring your wife to join you. You and your wife can decide that. But you must state your true marital status. Good luck.
