Hi.
I first came to Canada April 2014 as a pr. After 8 months me moved to back home and stayed 2 years and 3 months. My husband is a citizen he doesn’t have any problem I wanted to come 2 years and 3 months later on March 2017 when I check in police told me that you should not go out of Canada until your pr expired. My pr will expire april 2019. My question is if I visit my family for 1 month and I have health problem to seeing doctor will it be problem when I enter to Canada
Thank you so much for your advice

First PR status never expires and can only be revoked or renounced. As a PR you will always be entitled to enter Canada until either revoked or renounced.

Second you I assume landed in April 2014 so from then until March/April 2019 you need to accumulate 24 months in Canada to meet your residency obligation.

Todate you say you have spent 8 months in the country so need to spend a minimum of 16 months more to meet your residency obligation so in effect you could have returned this November/December and stayed in the country until March/April 2019 to meet this obligation.

So maybe I am misreading your actual question that you want to visit family in Canada for one month and if you have a health problem would this be an issue.

Well as a PR you are entitled to enter the country regardless of health, whether you would have health coverage having been away so long is a different question depending which province you are heading for plus with no residential address you may have no cover for a while.

In addition given you are on the verge of failing the residency obligation there is a chance you might get reported which could start the process to revoke your PR. The longer you leave it to come to Canada the odds increase of being reported, but as said still allowed to enter the country.

Others can comment as well if I got anything wrong and hopefully I have not misunderstood your actual question.

Your post isn't very clear. Are you living with a Canadian spouse? If so, your days outside of Canada count towards the PR Residency Obligation.

Depending on what province you may have medical coverage. If you are only in Canada for a visit and not to settle permanently no you will have reimburse the province for any services you use.

First of all thank you for your opinions and I am sorry for my English. I live in bc and I came to Canada with my husband he sponsored for me. I am just wAndering when my pr card expire will I have any problem to renew my pr card because I stayed out of Canada over 2 years. If I accumulate 2 years in Canada and meet residency obligation after that can I visit my family in my country. Thank you so much for your help again and again

Again, did you reside with a Canadian citizen spouse while living outside of Canada?

As I said in my first post, your time living with your Canadian husband counts towards the PR Residency Obligation.
