Hello all,
I was working as a retail store manager(noc __0621) in India for one year but they used to pay my salary in cash and they can provide me with reference letter so will it be good or I will not get the points for that.

Please answer experts

You obtain the reference letter from employer printed on companies letter head, signed by authorized person (his contact details for future communication, if needed) and get companies official seal on the letter. The letter should clearly indicates about your CTC, mode of payment, working hours, time period, job responsibilities, designation and other milestones achieved, if any.
Though I am not an expert, my opinion is purely based on communications with experts.

Also, try to collect as much as possible documents from employer that should support your reference letter. Be honest in, what documents you are submitting.

Sometimes you have to look at your documentation from the perspective of the VO. In this instance, the cash payment is the weak link. What proof of your payment can you provide. Your tax Assesment would be useful and ask the company to give you copies of your payment from their records.
