Re: Very complicated immigration case...plz help but without prejudice
I will try to be positive here, but I am not sure there is much to be positive about. I would first suggest that you need a really really good immigration lawyer who can impart solid advise on this matter.
Now that the visa has been issued, you are now responsible for your exhusband. And you have successfully frauded the canadian government and the immigration process. I think you are in great big ka-ka right now. I am not making a judgement by saying that. Just stating how I interpret the facts you have laid out for us. If you had followed the rules, your immigration status would not be in jeopardy right now. I think your current boyfriend is worried how he could be implicated in this. If no one finds out, then you would be lucky, however, I think when your ex sponsors his current girlfriend, this whole thing will come into the light. And moreover, you will have to live your life fearful of immigration finding out and risk being deported back to your country. And with so many other people involved, it only takes one person to tip immigration off. Perhaps the girlfriend of your exhusband gets in a fight with your husband, it takes only one call to tip immigration off. As for what you should do, I think you need to talk to a lawyer. Good luck.
