I sent my application is November.
My employment letter was signed and dated by my HR manager who just left our company 2 days ago.
I gave her contact no and business card with my application and that phone no is NO LONGER IN USE now.(every employee gets a new phone no when they start), but on the website of our company there is a general no which is not mentioned in the letter.
I dont know how long it will take to re-hire a new manager and that manager will have a NEW PHONE NO.

HOW SHOULD I INFORM CIC?

of course I did not get AOR yet.

Thanks in advance.

I'd suggest sending an e-mail to CIC informing them the manager left - provide a new contact name and number.

If the number was still in service I wouldn't suggest making the contact, but as the number is out of service I would.

There is no right or wrong answer for this. But if in doubt... Informing them will definitely cause any issues.

Good luck.

In my opinion , no need to inform CIC as of now , CIC Don't call always to employer This happens only in those few cases where VO confused about your Roles, Designation etc.
So in first place do you feel in your LOE their is some confusion ?

Consider , CIC contacted and they found contact no. is not valid , Then what you think , they will reject your application on this basis ? Answer is NO .
They will contact you and you have your chance to explain situation

Good luck
above was my opinion rest is up to you

Yes.. No need to worry.. If at all CIC wants any clarification they will ask you.. to avoid your worry you can always send a new letter with the correct details once you receive AOR. I would recommend wait till your AOR and then send a new letter.
As CEC_1304 said CIC will no reject for this reason.
