Hi, I am going through the PR apps, and fretting over everything! Anyway, on form IMM5490E, the sponsored spouse/partner questionaire, at the end they ask you for additional details that will help to prove that your relationship is genuine.

I am wondering, what do I write here? I have already written about how we met up to first meeting, then on another sheet how the relationship developed beyond that. I thought I had put everything into those two sheets.

So, what do I write as additional details? Do you list what documentary evidence you have included as proof of relationship? Do you just write more about your relationship? I might look obvious but I can't see it.

All facts doesn't necessarily mean much either. Sure, you don't want to go on for pages, but the extra letter gives you the opportunity to explain what facts alone cannot. What does it mean to each of you to be apart? It is very painful. My husband wrote that it hurts him every day we cannot be together and being together means everything to him, that he wants to live a normal husband/wife relationship.

We summed up our relationship, wrote out in length each "era" of our relationship and marriage and so on, then at the end explained the emotional side of it. His is 3 pages (Sponsor), and mine is about 1 page. We also have our supporting documents which prove what we say is true.

there's lot of info on this forum about what "supporting documentation" people have included with their application - emails, MSN chats, photos, copies of visas, airline tickets, phone cards....the list goes on and on. search around the forum for advice and suggestions. a simple letter might not be enough - they will want other supporting proof. don't forget letters from friends & family who have witnessed your relationship too.

good luck

You can write about your continous relationship. Example - how often you communicate with your sponsor in Canada. Also, via phone or emails or web cam chat.

My spouse wrote in her questionaire that she talks to me (sponsor) few hours each day on phone. I submitted my phone bills which bolstered the fact that our relationship/marriage is genuine and continous.
