Please help very very urgent

Recently I got IMMIGRANT (IM-1) visa( canda) and CONFORMATION OF PERMANENT RESIDENCE document (I got visa as dependent applicant), but unfortunately my traveling document(passport) was reissued by passport office before travelling due to shows error at immigration counter at IGI airport New Delhi, the error occurred due to mistake of passport office. Now they reissued me a new travel document (passport)and reason of letter( why they reissued new passport) but my details of old passport mentioned on new passport.
I am travelling first time to canada.

My question is that my visa stamped on old passport and old passport number on Conformation of permanent residence document (COPR). But both passport in my hand now.
So these circumstances i am travelling to canada?

If the passport linked to your CoPR is not valid, then you cannot use this to land. You will have to contact the visa office and explain the situation and they will then issue a new visa counterfoil and CoPR to use with your valid travel document.

You don't have to go through the whole application process again.

How much time they consume for this process any idea ?

Your best option is to email the visa office that processed your application and ask them directly about the process. They might be able to indicate how long it will take. I would calculate 4-6 weeks though, if it involves waiting for responses and then sending documents again.

Best contact the visa office responsible....
Back in the time I first landed in Canada my daughter’s COPR had a mistake... I emailed the visa office and they told me to sent everything back to them... I did... and got the amended forms back in 7 days even though the embassy was in a different country.....

The forms and fees should be submitted to VFS.

You are good to travel with your visa in your old passport even if its expired....like they said. Just tale both passport with you when you travel.
