PLEASE HELP - VERY URGENT

Back in 2006 my x-wife filed political asylum in the US (she was principal applicant) and got rejected – we didn't go to court to appeal. Now, I filed FSW1 and provided full docs to Buffalo office (I'm an H1B holder). However, on the background declaration Schedule 1 I didn't mention the political asylum case from the US - for some reason I missed the part where it says: “.... or in any other country”. Does this mean that my FSW1 application will atomically be rejected? What should I do now? Thanks.

P.S. I feel so down now.

I will say that you did intentionally hide a fact in your background declaration. You have to admit the mistake to CIC and correct it. Please see other opinions too.

I am sorry to say this, you intentionally hid the fact and this is exactly how the IO would see it because you can be rest assured that they will definitely find out. If we that are not immigration officers could think this way, how much more the IO? Apart from your PR being rejected, they will also ban you for 2years and charge you for misrepresentation.
You still have a chance. Quickly write a letter to explain the situation to CHC, admit it was an oversight, 'DO NOT HIDE ANYTHING' Please and please. This is exactly what I would do and only a few people would advise you otherwise. It is better if you let them know now rather than they find out themselves. If they find out, they will assume you were deliberately hiding it. Remember it only YOU that know you are not hiding this fact. Write them quick. This is my 2 cent worth, let PMM, Leon, Qorax and other senior give their opinions too
