I have submitted my application for Canadian citizenship last month (April 2020) from Vancouver.
I come to know that my Pakistani passport is going expire this month, I was here on my 3 years leave from Ministry of Finance job and my leave is already finished and I have to apply for more leave(NOC) then I will renew my Pakistan passport and I have to travel Pakistan for apply more leave then able to renew my Pakistan passport.
I have almost 4 years reaming to get my retirement from my Pakistani job.
I have plan to complete my citizenship oath then travel to Pakistan.
My question is it very important at the time of Canadian test and citizenship interview I have valid (not expire) Pakistan passport or it doesn’t matter Canadian immigration officer only check travel history last 5 years or ask for valid Pakistan passport at time of Canadian test and citizenship interview.
