I have a question. I am sponsoring both my parents as permanent resident. However, my mother and father have been separated for a long time and that one of them has a common law spouse for 26 yrs now.
My question is regarding the application. I don't know how will I proceed with?? Has anyone experienced this? How will I apply for it?

Please I need your inputs

You need to submit two applications - one for your mother and one for your father. You'll need to include the common law spouse as a dependent in either your mother or father's application (whoever has the common law spouse).

Thanks for replying.
Was there an issue with regards to me submitting separate applications?

My parents are not divorced or legally separated.

Have you experience this?

Did you already win a lottery spot?

You may need to win 2 spots to submit 2 separate applications. And not sure if 1 person can win 2 spots.

They are most definitely considered legally separated if they have been apart for over 26 years and one has been common-law with someone else since then.

As Rob said above, the issue is whether a person who wins one lottery spot can submit two separate apps.
