I lost my implied status because my bridge work permit got rejected on Sept 01, 2016 (at the time I did not have an ITA). I filed a study permit application on Sept 29, 2016 to go back to school in January, and in mid Oct, i received my ITA. I submitted my Permanent Residency application on Oct 31, 2016.
Until today, I still have not received my study permit (it has been 13 weeks, and the website says it takes 5 weeks normally). The CIC call said that the record does not say we miss anything but they might have a technical problem with the system to download certain form. They have no idea what is wrong. And, the application is on held since November.
Do you guys have similar experiences? CIC is not helpful and the delay without justification really cause troubles. My school starts in two weeks and I have no idea what to do here? Please help!
