PLEASE HELP !! Police certificate situation. For express entry

Hello All

My situation is as follows. I received and invitation last week for the PR.
going through the application checklist I see that they ask me of a Police Certificate. In the description it says that's if you lived anywhere else besides Canada for more the 6 months. I haven't lived anywhere outside Canada since I was 18. I found an error in my questionair where i entered an incorrect date which i thought that this could have triggered that. But after fixing it it still is appearing.

My lawyer suggests that I upload a letter of explanation because i did not live anywhere else since my 18th birthday.

If I try to get a police certificate from my home country It will take me 2 months to get it done through embassy and i only have 57 days left to submit my application.

I was wondering if anyone had a similar situation that could help me please !!

I don't thinks those living in Canada need a PCC...but please clarify from the CIC website.

The Canadian visa office will tell you if you need a Canadian criminal record check while your application is being processed. If the visa office asks you to complete a criminal record check, visit the RCMP website for instructions. You must bring:

A full electronic set of fingerprints on form C-216C taken by one of these accredited companies or police services
A complete application form (available on the RCMP website)
Reason for your request (eg. For immigration)
Your full name
Date of birth
Sex
Mailing address
Phone number (and/or fax number and/or e-mail address)
Applicable fees

Special notes and considerations

Fingerprints must be submitted electronically to CCRTIS. Paper submissions will not be processed and will be returned to the originator.

Electronic fingerprint submissions to the RCMP is not currently available from outside of Canada. You may contact accredited companies within Canada who will digitize ink fingerprints and submit them electronically to the RCMP.

Your lawyer is right. Submit a LOE alongwith proof, like Passport stamps etc. to show you didn't live outside Canada for more than 6 months.
