helo can i ask here,, my father sent our application for permanent residence at CIC Mississauga he is the sponsor.. now its been 3 years no update yet in our ecas still Application received. this coming july 24,2015 he will take his oath of citizenship,, do we still have a chance? should he ask for gcms notes for our application to know whats going on? thank you

You'll need to provide a lot more details about your case if you want any of us to try to assist. As of now we don't have enough details to be of any help.

Who was part of the sponsorship application? Just you and your siblings? Anyone else?

When did your father get PR status in Canada? After you were born? If it was after you were born, were you included in his PR application as non-accompanying dependents and were all of you medically examined?

How old were all of you when the sponsorship application was submitted? What is your status now? Still full time students? Are any of you now married?

august 2011 imgration sent a letter for me and my brother that year im 21 and his 18.. our father applied for permanent residence and he included us,
we received ur aplication for permanent rsidence on october 6,2011
we started procesing ur aplication on january 16,202
medical results have been recieved
we withdrew ur application on january 24,2012 and your file has been closed
a decision has been made on your aplcation.the ofce wil cntact u cncerning ths decision.

that is our 1st aplcation,, we didnt know the reason it got withdrew,, coz they didnt cntact us. then march 2012 the PR of my father got approved they sent him a letter that he can stil sponsor us that it could reopen our case,. we fil up the required aplication medical done, send him our documents. and he went to misauga to pay and gve our aplication..
our 2nd application received june 5,2012 and that time im 22 and my brother is 19. if i am not qualified that time then they should have sent me a letter. now im 25 and my brother is 22..sory for the bad english

To be honest, your case sounds too complicated for any of us on the status of your application. It's difficult to understand what happened when the application was withdrawn and then reopened. There may also be other details you are not aware of.

Your father should order his gcms notes. This is the only way to find out what is happening for certain.

You and your brother should not get married and should not start living with a partner if you want this application to succeed.

In that case it would be a good idea if a friend who understands computers helps him. None of us can tell you what is in your gcms notes. We don't have access to this information.

Why is he waiting until he takes the citizenship oath? This has no impact on the notes or his citizenship. He should apply for the notes as soon as possible so that you can find out the status of your application.

thats what he said to me,,wsh i could do it but it says there that only cnadian and prmanent residnce can request.. wsh i could force him to do that asap but i cant he is busy everday. but will try to cnvince him, explain 2 him that it wil not afect anythng

May be he can go to his Local Mp office and they will do it there for him.They can also send a request about his case and see whats going on.

To clarify, ecas just updated now? Those messages are from 2012. Or, do you mean you just checked ecas and that is on there? Something is definitely wrong regardless.

If your father is going to be applying for citizenship soon, that means he is a PR now. So he can apply to get his notes.

actualy my father is now canadian citizen, july24 ,2015 thats the date of his oath taking..i thnk he called the ofce for his pasport cause its going to change, he ask about our application they said its Pending and he should call every month to ask about it.
