Hello Everyone,
I am on "Intra company transferee” in Canada.
• December 2009 to December 2011 - my work permit is showing occupation as "Embedded sys software designer (NOC 9990.2)" (Under remarks section nothing has mentioned)
As per my understanding –(9990.2) was a synthetic code for one of the 7 systems jobs that didn't require a LMO at the time the work permit was issued.
• Jan 2012 to till date - work permit is showing occupation as "Software & Comp sys evaluators" (but under remarks section it is mentioned as "Intra company transferee. Retained status as SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR.")
My employer provided designation as System Administrator when applied my WP extension and mostly job and responsibilities matches to NOC 2281
However, When I called CIC to find out my NOC for “Software & Comp sys evaluators". They said WP issued under NOC 2283.
I am not sure why CIC gave me WP on NOC 2283 as none of the jobs and responsibilities matches, which I do.
Being said, I am on close work permit so I am not authorized to work in occupation other than stated.
So in IMM0008, do I have to put NOC 9990.2 and NOC 2283?
As well just worrying me is, they mentioned as "Intra company transferee. Retained status as SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR.") So I believe they will not consider me for NOC 2281
Can someone please advise on this?
